Sweet Tart Dress

Sweet Tart Dress

I did a little pattern testing again this week. This is the Sweet Tart Dress by Bellamie Boo Couture. I don’t believe it’s been released yet but will be soon. It’s her first pattern, so I don’t have a link for you yet but will add it when it’s available.

It has a ton of options. Straight or criss-crossed straps, a bow in the back or a sash, and flutter sleeves. Here’s a picture of the dress using the flutter sleeves and a different back option.

This sweet little lady is almost 6 months and I tested the 6-9 months size. There’s the option to do a button back or shirring. I went with shirring (you use elastic thread for your bobbin thread). It was my first time trying and I did so without any issues.

I don’t want Quinn to grow too fast. I must say, however, that when she gets a little better at sitting and learns how to stand by herself, it sure will make garment picture-taking easier. :) Thankfully, her big sister stepped in to help.
