Itty Bitty Turquoise Dress

Itty bitty baby take home dress

7 weeks (or less) to go and I am not at all ready. Crib isn’t up, room isn’t ready, no diapers or other baby needs have been purchased. Pretty sure the reality of it all hasn’t hit me yet. My youngest is just about four. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in baby mode. At least I’m on top of my baby crafting.

To make the dress I used Made by Rae’s free itty bitty baby pattern. It has two sizes, 7 to 8 pounds and 9 to 11.

This was my first time using piping. Every small step in improving my sewing skills is a bonus in the sewing fun, right? I think the tying of the bows was trickier than inserting the piping. :)
